About Us

Our Cattery opened Easter 2004, Animals have played a major part at the Greenland’s since we moved from Thurlaston almost forty years ago, having been in business since 1968 we decided to sell our motor trade and two motor supply shops in 2001, we decided we wanted to do something with animals and work from home.

So we applied for planning permission to BDC and was granted planning in 2003 for a boarding cattery, we cater for 33 cats.

We started straight away with the alterations and opened Easter 2004, we have so much space we decided to make all the pens larger and in galvanised steel construction which today size wise is a legal requirement,

We have regular loyal clients that came to us when we first opened,

We are very grateful for their support and always will be, we strive to give all our customers old and new a 100% service.

We don’t employ staff but our grandson Jack works part time for us, he currently works at RSPCA and has a degree in animal care, my wife sue is the cat cuddlier, we have chickens, doves, two aviaries, and rabbits, and not forgetting Monty and Paddy the horses.

We have two Cocker spaniels, Lilly and Alice and one German shepherd Konnie.

Free range eggs are always available, apart from the cats we look after rabbits and all small pets while our customers are away.
